A sign of meth manufacturing in a home includes reddish stains on the carpets or walls that will not come out. If you were to spray starch to these reddish stains and it turns purple then the stain is caused by iodine which is a key chemical in making meth. Users who take meth habitually build a tolerance to the drugs effects. This causes them to take more or even change the method of how they take the drug (i.e. snorting meth to smoking meth to increase their rush).
Habitual meth use can lead to malnutrition, paranoia, confusion, anxiety, sleeplessness, aggressiveness, heart failure, seizures, coma, and death.
When a meth addict no longer experiences the same high they initially felt from using meth they will sometimes change their method of drug delivery. Meaning, if they initially snorted the drug they will then experiment with smoking or injecting the drug to increase their rush.
Meth is known as poor mans cocaine because it generally costs the same or less than crack cocaine but metabolizes slower in the users body causing the high to last longer. Hence, more bang for your buck.
