Crystal Meth is a central nervous system stimulant and is very, very addictive. Nearly half of first time crystal meth users and more than 3/4 of second time crystal meth users report addiction-like cravings. 
Crystal methamphetamine or "tina" is one of the fastest growing drugs in the gay community. To users it's short-term effects may seem mild and the initial high fantastic, but in the long run tina can be dangerous to their physical and emotional health not to mention social well-being. 
Common chemicals and ingredients that can be used to produce meth include: Acetone, Anhydrous ammonia, Battery acid (sulfuric acid), Brake cleaner (toluene), Cold tablets containing pseudoephedrine, Drain cleaner (sodium hydroxide), Freon, Iodine crystals, Paint thinner, Reactive metals (sodium or lithium), Red phosphorus and Starting fluid (ether).
