The longer a person abuses meth, the more they need, even to the point of depriving themselves of basic needs such as food and sleep, in order to keep administering the drug to feed their addiction.

When meth is combined with heroin it is known as a "speedball."
Here in the United States, some parts of the country are seeing an increase in the number of Hispanic and Native American meth users. However, whites are still the most common meth users.
