The cost of meth varies across the country but it is estimated that the drug costs $25 per 1/4 gram, $ 100 per gram and $1700 per ounce of meth.
A bulk of the meth in our country comes from superlabs, operated by sophisticated traffickers. However, smaller tabletop labs have increased exponentially in the last decade.
Common meth lab equipment includes: tubing, unmarked Mason jars with tubes attached, stained coffee filters, 2-liter pop bottles, blenders, camera batteries, wooden matches, propane cylinders and hot plates.
Long-term effects of Crystal Meth use can include brain damage (similar to the effects of Parkinson’s disease or Alzheimer’s disease), coma, stroke or death.
