It is estimated that nearly half of all the major crimes in the United Sates can be attributed to meth and other drugs of addiction. When a meth user crashes after binging on meth they go into an agitated depression, sometimes accompanied by an urge for more meth. Eventually these feelings give way to lethargy, followed by a long deep sleep. When the meth user finally wakes their depression returns - this is a time when the potential for suicide is high.
