With this act, any products that contain pseudoephedrine, ephedrine, or phenylpropanolamine must be put behind the counter or in a locked cabinet at retail stores. Also, customers who want to buy products that contain these ingredients must sign a logbook and show I.D. for each purchase.
The effects of meth last much longer than cocaine (another commonly abused stimulant). Meths effects last on average 10-12 hours while cocaines effects typically last approximately 45 minutes.
