When a meth addict is on a run (continually using meth until they physically cant use it anymore or have no more money to buy more) they may inject as much as a gram of meth every two to three hours over the course of several days.
When a meth user takes meth it causes the over-release of dopamine. As the user takes more and more meth their brain becomes depleted of dopamine.
