A pound of crystal meth can produce about six pounds of toxic waste. These manufacturers often pour these waster chemicals and other unwanted byproduct down drains, toilets, streams, or directly onto the ground.

Some meth users will carry a hollowed out pen. It is used to carry the drug, snort finely crushed meth or even serves as a 'pipe stem' to inhale fumes when the drug is smoked.
Crystal meth labs are very volatile; highly explosive gases make these labs a great danger to the communities they infiltrate.
