About 5% of high school seniors have used crystal meth -- also called "crank," "tweak," "ice" or "glass," among other names -- at least once.
It is not uncommon for a person high on meth to believe they hear phantom sounds or voices that dont exist.
To support their meth addiction addicts often participate in spur-of-the-moment crimes, such as purse snatching or burglaries.
